We've taught thousands of children and adults over the years and now we invite you to join our Funky Family, wherever you are in the world!
From the founder, to the management team, to the teachers; we are all professional dancers….dance is what we do. Therefore, the dance training and standard of teaching is of the highest calibre. Our passionate, engaging, positive team have dance running through their veins! We love what we do, we do what we love.

Meet The Team
Founder and Director
With a lifetime’s dancing (first class honours in her dance degree and scholarship to London Contemporary Dance School), three children and over a decade of running Funky Moves under her belt, Alice is the Mama of Funky Moves. Bringing positive, sassy and super smiley vibes she shares her love of dance far and wide whilst sprinkling it with sparkly energy.
Director & Teacher
Introducing Holly, our friendly, funny and always funky creative director. Multi talented and with skills coming out of her ears…Holly has many strings to her bow. Social media, website, marketing and design are to name just a few of her talents. With a BA honours Degree in Performing arts and over 10 years of teaching experience, she is a dynamic and inspiring teacher who you simply must experience a class with.

Kind, passionate, and full of energy…this is Jess. Her great chat and amazing organisation skills makes her the perfect person to create your dance experience with Funky Moves. Her dance training at Millenium and yoga training in India, combined with her warmth and humour means being part of her class is an absolute treat.
Tam has only been in the company a couple of years, but is already a firm favourite with clients of all ages. Tam's experience and qualifications are ridiculously impressive, so you may log in to find her teaching any one of our classes... but we guarantee her warm, friendly smile and bubbly personality will have you feeling immediately at ease! Tam trained at Laine Theatre Arts, going on to gain a degree in Musical Theatre. She was Associate Choreographer for All or Nothing the musical in the West End, has performed in various shows, pantomimes and music videos, as well as on the BBC and ITV for prime time shows. All this and more, make Tam a firecracker of a Funky Mover!
Vicki can be described in two words... positive and passionate. Her energy is infectious and her way of teaching inspires children and adults of all ages to get up and dance! Vicki joined the Funky Family almost three years ago and graduating from the Urdang Academy she has danced and sung on London's West End, Cruise Ships, DisneyLand and most recently as Associate Choreographer of the Paw Patrol Live Tour! All this experience has made her the awesome Funky Moves teacher she is today.
A Funky Mover with seriously impressive street moves and choreograpy from her street dance crew years. Her dance talent matches her positivity creating a beautiful human, full of upbeat fun and bouncy energy. Her training at the Urdang Academy and Urban Strides means that this lady knows what she is doing and delivers it with lashings of infectious enthusiasm.
